There's Joy Ahead
As we journey together, we know there is strength in numbers. Life can be so hard some days. Whether we're experiencing seasons of blessings or challenges, we all need cheering on and some support.
May these posts offer you encouragement...
let's wander around together, keeping our eyes on Jesus.

Joyce's CarePages was the method I used to keep my Momma's friends and family updated on her cancer journey. I wrote almost daily about what she and my family were experiencing in that season. I did not realize at that time how that writing helped me process the deep grief I was experiencing at the same time I was caring for my Momma. I consider this the beginning of a longer plan that God had in store for me.
Journey to the Jordan was a blog site that I began at the onset of my cancer diagnosis. It chronicles my journey throughout the process, and expresses my thoughts and feelings, the good days, and bad. The title I selected for the blog was timely as I had just begun a study of Exodus. In many ways, I felt like an Israelite, wandering through the desert, trying hard to keep my focus on God. Life often doesn't make sense to us, but God provides each of us what we need as we wander through the wilderness.
The irony with all of this is I never kept a diary as a child, or journaled as an adult. Writing was something I thought was for other people, I just wasn't any good at it. What I want you to know is that whether it is for personal use, or to share with others, you never know how putting words on paper can help you process the things going on in your life, or even perhaps how they can be used to encourage others who may be going through something similar.
